[Hot Shot Photo 1] Quint 1 was positioned at the front of the structure along with Tower 6 which was positioned in the front corner.  The Gettysburg Hotel can be seen in the background.  (Photos on this page provided courtesy of Darryl Wheeler of the Gettysburg Times).


[Hot Shot Photo 2]One resident's apartment was also destroyed by the fire on the second floor of the Town and Campus Barber Shop.  Upon arrival of E1-2, the resident was vacating the building as smoke had filled her apartment.  Fire had quickly spread throughout this building as well.  Although the fire was extinguished in this building, the building had to be demolished later.  The couch from the second floor apartment can be seen in this photo. 


[Hot Shot Photo 3]Gettysburg Chief 1,  Larry Weikert, discusses operations  with Gettysburg Captain 1, Dave Blocher as multiple attack lines are being directed on the fire. 


[Hot Shot Photo 4] A total of four aerial devices were used to contain the fire.  Counterclockwise from the left is Quint 1, Tower  6, Truck 1, and McSherrystown's Engine 17-2.  Engine 17-2 was set up in the alley to the rear of the structure.


[Hot Shot Photo 5] Gettysburg Chief 1, Larry Weikert, was incident commander throughout the incident, and Gettysburg Assistant Chief 1, Al Knerr, was an operations officer.
