08-16-00 at 12:14 hrs.

Gettysburg Fire Dept. was dispatched to this early afternoon vehicle accident along the 2400 Block of Baltimore Pike involving a car and a tractor trailer, with entrapment. Rescue 1 was used to perform the extrication of the driver of the car.

The driver was extricated within 15 minutes, then flown to York Hospital by Life Lion Helicopter.
