At 13:20 hours, while units were detailed to fire prevention presentations at local schools, units were dispatched to 120 Confederate Drive for a male having seizures on the roof of a house under construction. Units arrived and under the command of Chief 1 (Weikert) determined that a rescue operation was needed to remove the patient from the roof. Quint 1 positioned and laddered the roof. The crew then placed the patient in a Stoke's basket and a hauling system was established to bring the patient down the ladder to awaiting EMS units. Crews cleared after 20 minutes.
