10-25-98 - Firefighter Roger Heyser manuevers ladder of Quint 1 into position for roof ventilation as firefighter John Lawver, Jr. operates pump of Quint 1, while firefighters attack fire in the common attic area of this structure. This was the first working structure fire for Quint 1 since it was placed into service on October 7th.

Chief Larry Weikert and Deputy Chief Andy Hansen are shown in this photo. Chief Weikert was incident commander for this fire.

Fire was contained to attic area of the four units of this structure with minimal extension into 2nd floor of the structure. Units from Biglerville, Littlestown, New Oxford, and McSherrystown assisted at the scene.
