On Saturday, June 12, 2004, the GFD took delivery of its new Sutphen Rescue. It will be sent out for miscellaneous work in the next few weeks, along with driver and firefighter training on the new apparatus.

Rescue 1 several days prior to delivery to the GFD. A few final touches are still required before we receive the piece.
Rescue 1 on display at the Harrisburg Expo. Rescue 1 returned to factory for finish work.
Rear compartment will have slide out drawer with full compliment of hydraulic rescue tools.

Body: Stainless steel rescue body with ROM roll up doors and full depth compartments.
Hatch compartments over the rescue body to hold long lightweight items such as backboards, stokes, pales of foam etc.
One hatch compartment will be set up to carry up to 250lbs of speedy dry with a fill tube out the bottom of the firebody.

Supply Hose: 800' of 5"
Preconnects: 2-200' 1.75 xlays, 1-300' 1.75 off rear, 1-200' 2.5" off rear, 1-150' 3" with water thief off rear, and 1-100' of 1" trashline to be located on the curbside running board.
There will be additional 2.5" outlets on the pump panels and a large diameter discharge on the curbside pump panel.
6" steamers for inlets and a 2.5" inlet on both sides of the pump.
