Around 1230 hrs on July 3rd, Co.2 (Fairfield) was dispatched for vehicle into a building with injuries Carr Hill Road in Box 2-1. While Co.2 units were responding, Communications received additional information reporting that the there was no building struck, however the car was off the roadway into a tree with the occupant trapped. RE2 arrived with DC2 (A.Jacobs) and confirmed the updated reports and entrapment, now bringing Rescue 1 to the scene. RE2 personnel began stabilization and extrication and upon arrival R1 personnel were assigned to assist with manpower. The patient was extricated and transported to a nearby trauma center for treatment.
