On Wednesday, January 26, at approximately 11:20 AM, E1-1 & Truck 1 were dispatched on the 1st alarm to a house fire on Second Street in the Village of Orrtanna (Hamiltonban Twp). Truck 1 responded with a crew of 4, with additional personnel supplementing staffing on scene. Initial reports indicated possible occupants trapped, but all residents were confirmed safely outside as crews arrived. Rescue Engine 4 arrived first, reporting fire showing from the (Side D) of a two-story single-family home. Crews from Companies 4 and 2 made an aggressive interior attack while Deputy Chief 2 (A. Jacobs) assumed command.

Truck 1 arrived and staged on the hard road due to limited access and split crews to assist with primary search, ladder placement, and exterior ventilation.

Personnel remained on scene for roughly 3 1/2 hours before being released by Command. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the PSP FM.
