Engine and Truck on 2nd Barn Fire of the Day

4-28-21 1600 hours Box 23-4
Adams County Communications sounded the pre-alert for a reported barn fire in the 400 block of Bullfrog Road in Freedom Township, assigning Truck 1 & Engine 1-1. Upon response of Co.23, a large header was seen in the distance, prompting Chief 23 to request the 2nd and 3rd alarms along with the Brush Task Force and special request for mini pumpers. MICU 54-6 1st arriving, reported a fully-involved barn back a long, narrow driveway with a brush fire spreading through the wood line. Units began an exterior attack of the barn and rapidly spreading brush fire, unfortunately the barn was a total loss and was reported to contain several antique vehicles and machinery. Units operated on the scene for several hours. Frederick County Battalion Chief 902 with the 23 Command.
