Gettysburg Fire Department's Brush 1 responded to its inaugural call today in Bendersville's area, Adams County. This was the first call for Brush 1. Brush 1 was part of a brush taskforce assignment along with other units from fire departments across Adams County. Gettysburg Fire personnel helped on the fireline and extinguish hotspots. No property damage or injuries to community members or fire personnel were reported.
