On Tuesday March 24th @ approximately 1523hrs, Brush1, Traffic1 & DC1 (McGonigal) responded to US Route 15 SB in the area of MM .8 to assist Co. 23 (Greenmount) & Mutual Aid Companies with a Tractor Trailer and Brush Fire. Brush 1 was placed in service by Command 23 as they arrived on scene w/DC1 remaining to assist Co.23 with the contents of the product being transported (Lime). Later in the evening, Rescue 1 was requested by Command 23 to assist with lighting and additional equipment for the cleanup and removal of the Lime & TT. SB Route 15 was closed for several hours, with traffic being detoured around the scene by several Fire Police personnel.
