Gettysburg Fire Department received a call this morning from the Director of Maintenance at the Adams County Courthouse in Gettysburg requesting our assistance to help secure a piece of aluminum scroll that was blown loose from the recent wind.

Due to the increase of wind, it was important to secure this as soon as possible, so it would not blow off and potentially injure someone.
Truck 1 was utilized to gain access to the affected area while maintenance personnel ascended the ladder and secured the scroll back in place.

Gettysburg Fire Police provided traffic and scene control around the area so personnel could safely operate.
