The Gettysburg Fire Department was dispatched to the location for a reported fall victim below grade. Truck 1, Rescue 1, Traffic 1 and #AdamsRegionalEMS responded. Units arrived to find a patient who fell approximately 10’ below grade while entering an underground vault to service equipment under the Majestic Theater. EMS made contact with the patient along with Gettysburg College Safety and Security personnel . The Patient was treated for injurie, secured into a Stokes Basket and removed to street level. Truck 1 was positioned and utilized as a High Point for a rope system. Patient was then brought up and out of the vault and transferred to the care of EMS.
Air Medical was initially placed on standby, but later canceled. Pt transported by EMS to Hospital for treatment of injuries.
