For the 2nd time in less than a week, the GFD Volunteers and Mutual Aid companies responded to a well involved house fire late this afternoon around 1648 hrs @ 1200 Good Intent Road in Straban Twp. (Box 1-6). E1-2 w/4 & Chief 1 (Kime) responded shortly after dispatch and with the additional information received from Communications, the Tanker Task Force was requested and dispatched. Chief 1 arrived on scene of a 1-story single family dwelling with fire consuming the entire Alpha side of the home. E1-2 arrived, initiated fire attack from the A side and then made a push to the interior where the found heavy fire in the ceiling area & attic of the home. As additional units arrived, they were assigned to assist E1-2 with opening up on the interior, establish a water supply at nearby Amblebrook development and initiate a manpower staging area. No injuries reported. The fire remains under investigation.
