On Saturday, February 14th at approximately 6:15 p.m., the GFD was dispatched to a vehicle fire in front of 14 Baltimore Street. Engine 1-2 with four personnel, Engine 1-1 with three personnel, Chief 1, and Deputy Chief 1 responded to the incident. Upon arrival, crews found a four-door passenger vehicle with an active fire in the engine compartment.

Firefighters deployed a hose line from the bumper to extinguish the fire and conduct overhaul operations. Units remained at the scene for about 45 minutes. Chief McGonigal held the Baltimore Street Command.
