Bowling) arrived on scene shortly after dispatch and completed a 360-degree size-up, made entry and observed smoke coming from a third-floor apartment. Residents on scene reported that all occupants had evacuated the building and were accounted for.

Primary and secondary searches of the building were completed and were negative. One occupant was displaced as a result of the fire. There were no civilian injuries and no injuries to fire service personnel.
The fire was determined to be accidental in nature.
The Gettysburg Fire Department wishes to thank all mutual aid companies for their assistance during this incident.
